MSM+Ester-C (Pellets)

MSM is a naturally occurring sulfur compound, which plays an important role in maintaining the health of collagen, cartilage, hooves, hair and joint fluid. MSM is also known for its ability to help horses with stiffness and discomfort associated with exercise and normal daily activity.

Many horses need more vitamin C than they can make themselves or get from feed and forage – especially seniors, those in heavy work, those with respiratory conditions, and any horse that has been stressed. Vitamin C supports normal collagen and proteoglycans growth while promoting a healthy immune response. 

Benefits of Ester-C® 

• Stability – Ester-C® has a shelf life up to 5 years. Typical shelf life of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is 6months to 1 year depending on storage, as it is sensitive to heat, light and air. 

• Non Acidic – Ester-C® is non acidic like Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), so it’s gentler on the stomach. 

• Absorption – Studies indicate when the same levels of Ester-C® and Vitamin C were given, the Ester-C® absorbed twice as fast and indicated levels in tissues and blood to be up to 4 times greater than Vitamin C.
